To Our Valued U.S. PLY Contractors and Distributors:
I am writing this “Danny’s Thoughts” just after viewing the full totality solar eclipse…what a breath-taking experience. The last time it happened was during my U.S Intec days! I am always awe struck by historical events like today. Speaking of historical, what a fast and furious start to 2024! U.S. PLY had its best 1st Quarter sales in the history of our company, and our 2nd Quarter has started off gangbusters as well. I can’t thank our loyal roofers and distributors enough for their business, and also, our dedicated sales reps who work tirelessly to “Push the Ply!”
With business being so brisk right now, I want to encourage our customers to get your P.O.’s in as early as possible. The summer time is our busiest season, and I want to make sure your roofing projects are in the production queue and will be delivered in a timely fashion. I don’t foresee any volatile price movements in raw materials in the near future, so material pricing should remain steady.
Please note that we are now offering our USP High Temp Self Adhered 180 Underlayment! This 2 square roll to be used under metal/tile roofs has a 180-day exposure rating and is very competitively priced. Every roofer that has used it so far has loved it! Last, I want to thank everyone for their patience at the beginning of the year during our annual plant shutdown for routine maintenance. We did go over the time we budgeted for maintenance, but we are working extra hard playing catch-up to fulfill current orders. We have added shifts to help accommodate your existing orders.
